We cordially invite all non-profit and public benefit organizations to a special event and workshop with the Google Earth Outreach team in Nairobi, Kenya.
What is this event?
Google Earth Outreach is a program that helps non-profit organizations and public benefit groups learn to use Google Earth and Maps as powerful communications tools to educate the public and policy-makers. At this event, you will hear first-hand from organizations who have used Google Earth for outreach and advocacy in Africa. You will also learn how to implement Google Maps and Google Earth for your own projects in our afternoon workshop.
Who should attend?
Non-profit organizations and public benefit groups that would like to learn how to use Google Maps and Google Earth as powerful communication tools. We encourage attendees with technical backgrounds to attend the afternoon technical workshops and how-to session.

10:00 - 11:00 - An Introduction to Google Earth Outreach, by the Earth Outreach Team
11:00 - 12:00 - Case Studies from NGOs who have benefited from mapping technology
12:00 - 13:00 - Lunch to be provided
13:00 - 16:00 - Technical workshops and How-To sessions by members of the Google Earth Outreach team
16:00 - 16:30 - Optional Q & A session or Office hours with the Google Earth Outreach team. We can discuss your individual projects and mapping goals during this time.
